Coalition Warfighter Interoperability
Demonstration (CWID) showcases information sharing technologies
developed for use by warfighters and agencies to fill operational
capability gaps. The demonstrations - which take place in various
locations worldwide - focus on technology discovery, risk reduction, and
interoperability. During the demonstration, technologies may receive
three types of assessment which include User Utility, Interoperability,
Information Assurance. The results of these assessments are captured and
released in the annual CWID final report.
U.S. CWID sites include:
- U.S. Joint Forces Command; Suffolk, Va.
- Naval Surface Warfare Center; Dahlgren, Va.
- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center; San Diego, Calif.
- U.S. Air Force Electronic Systems Center; Hanscom Air Force Base,
Mass.
- U.S. Northern Command; Peterson Air Force Base, Colo.
In addition, demonstrations will be hosted by Canada, the United
Kingdom, and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Contact CWID
